Canon EOS C100 EF

The Canon EOS C100 is an affordable video production camera offering a unique combination of professional HD imaging, compact design and lens versatility. The user-friendly C100 is ideally configured for single person use.

Quality upgrade for DSLR users

Canon-16-35mm-EF-lens_150pxCanon opened up affordable large imaging shooting with the 5DMKII, but as with all stills cameras it came with issues of audio, colour, ability to deal with vertical lines whilst moving and timecode when in video mode. The C100 fixes all those issue and gives the user a much more ‘hassle free’ shooting experience. It also addresses tighter budgets for non broadcast HD projects.

SD-card_200pxAffordable media

Never before has a ‘movie style’ depth of field look at broadcast quality been so affordable. Canon continues move to the use of SD cards as the affordable record media for the C100. A 64GB SD card can reecord up to 5 hours, 55 minutes.

Great camera for development shoots

Given the lower cost day rate on the Canon C100 many clients are using this as the camera of choice for development shoots. Getting the idea across to others in the form of a teaser tape has never looked so professional as with giving shots a narrow depth of field using the C100. For any non-broadcast HD projects this camera gives outstanding production value as well as great value for money
