Sky Creative hires Anna Valley for Game of Thrones Season 4 Premiere.

Sister company Anna Valley was chosen by Sky Creative to provide a full audio visual solution, including projection mapping of The Guildhall, for the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere, which airs on Sky Atlantic on the 7th April.

Stars from the Sky Atlantic TV show took to the red carpet including Sophie Turner, Iain Glen and Liam Cunningham.

The event, which attracted over 400 guests, was also attended by fans and those involved in the making of the show.

The event was organised by Sky Creative and included a screening in the Grand Hall, as well as an after party in the venues’ crypt.

Anna Valley provided four Panasonic PT-DZ21KE projectors and the AI Media Server to map the front of the Guildhall and playback content as the VIPs arrived on the red carpet.

Alongside the projection mapping, Anna Valley provided a D&B Line array system, which was used to provide an atmospheric soundtrack to the projection mapping.

Inside the Grand Hall was a 32ft projection screen to playback the premiere using two Christie 18k J Series Projectors and provided audio via another line array system and full stage & scenic lighting.

In the Crypt for the after party, Anna Valley provided a pumping D&B PA system and dramatic lighting for the room.

Richard Mackie, Project Manager, Anna Valley, said: “Mapping the Guildhall was a real creative challenge, and seeing it bathed in digital imagery from Game of Thrones, which I’m a personal fan of, was a great moment. What made this event particularly challenging was the fact it was the short amount of rig and the projection towers for the mapping where located in a public area.”
