This microphone consists of a T-shaped microphone amplifier body with two MK 4 Colette cardioid capsules. The capsules are mounted 170 mm apart with an included angle of 110°: The interaural arrival times and differences in intensity resemble those at the human head, due to the spacing and directivity of the capsules.
