Murdered in Tenerife

In May 2011, 60-year-old British grandmother Jennifer Mills-Westley was beheaded in broad daylight on the Spanish island by Bulgarian man Deyan Deyanov. Her case was reported around the world, but what is much less well-known is the fact her killer had twice been admitted to an NHS psychiatric unit in Wales and twice released. Dispatches followed the victim’s two daughters in their search for answers, both in the UK and Tenerife.

The excellent and popular camera is a great option for location interviews due to the amazing depth of field capability. The compact form factor has also contributed to the C300 becoming a great choice for foreign travel shoots where packing space is at a premium.

The production backed up the C300 with another great Canon tool in the shape of the popular XF305. Advantages of keeping within the Canon family came in the use of compact flash cards as the record media throughout. The similarity in menu structure and button locations also made it simple to interact with either camera on  location and access audio and lens settings throughout.
