Shooting Partners Facilities supplied multiple Sony PDW 700 XDCAM kits for Maverick Television's fantastic new show on SKY ONE HD.

Shooting took place in the challenging weather conditions of South Wales, where the crew had to endure torrential rain and high winds on a daily basis. The sturdy XDCAM format withstood the adverse conditions to provide superb quality HD pictures and sound throughout.

Contestants battled it out to construct machines for each challenge as presenter Ben Shepherd kept across the progress. The kit also comprised of an 18ft Jib which through the fast paced shooting schedule was lucky not to be hit by lighting!
