Operation Ouch!

Operation Ouch! is a children’s educational television series about the human body, it shows what happens in A&E, what doctors sometimes have problems with and great experiments. The show is hosted by twin bothers Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken.

In order to educate children about medicine and biology, Drs Chris and Xand van Tulleken perform experiments on the human body to see how they work and investigate medical treatments and technology. The doctors also offer “try this at home” experiments for viewers to participate in.

Maverick Television chose Shooting Partners to provide support to in house kit based around lenses, lighting and grip kits.

Canon-100mm-150-x-100Canon lenses proved useful for this show, especially the Canon L series 100mm Macro lens. This lens is designed to fit on an ‘EF’ (electronic focus) mount for cameras such as an EOS C300 or 5D MKII.

The L-series is Canon’s flagship professional lens range, representing the best in precision-designed EF optics. L-series lenses combine superior performance with superlative handling, and are resistant to dust and moisture.

Other great additions to the kit package included Litepanels for fast, cable free rigging and soft light and small scale portable camera movements in the form of a Wally Dolly.

Operation Ouch is a Maverick Television Production showing on CbbC
